I'm not very good at shopping - hardly surprising for a bloke. I particularly hate buying shoes. I always want to buy kitten heels with pointy toes and sequins & bows in bright colours but of course these aren't practical for running up and down ladders in. (OK for Friday nights though!)

Quite sometime ago I bought these sensible boots from the builders merchants, "Cats" with steel toe caps, laces a mile long and grips that wouldn't look out of place on a 4x4, it was such fun. As you may have noticed my legs are covered in hair. This is beacuse I don't shave them - always getting cut.

BTW - note to Her Indoors: Yes my boots are on the sofa but I'm 45 years old, the sofa may be yours but the faux fur is MINE so stop complaining!!
