After many years of faithful service my 'Next' divers look-a-like watch deceided it was time to call it a day and send the second hand into a full stop retirement. A replacement was sought and duly arrived today and was proud to show off the fully mobile second hand. So here it is captured in a 5 second burst of time, my new ticker!!

But can you make it slow down through your photography skills?

I'm scared of my brother's ability to know what he knows...I'm just looking at this thinking "Cool" and he goes and gets all technical!! LOL!

You hit the nail on the head Mark!!

...latter four seconds, I counted wrong!

Very cool shot. Dazed, it's a five second exposure with the flash fired four times in the last three seconds. Hence the f/32, 5sec exposure and the four distinct hands. Very nicely done, Ian.

I love the visual movement of the second hand! I've warn Seiko watches exclusively for many years. They tend to be very reliable for me. :)

Daze is barking up the wrong tree!!

I thought multiple exposure at first. Now I see it is just good crisp hand movement. Another nice capture.

That IS cool, but I thought for sure I'd see your kids dancing with joy at cracking that Crash Bandicoot level!!!

That's really cool!
