I've been having some great ideas for my POTD in the last few days, I like to think ahead and not leave things to the last minute, and what happens, three of them appear yesterday in other POTDer's galleries! First we have Nikki's mug and cookie, yep I'd planned that one since my birthday. Then pay nephew Alex a visit and there's a hedgerow with the berries, thanks Al. And last but not least I feast my eyes on some delicious looking stuffed pepper's (not sure about that yellow potato stuff tho). I'm not going to post my peppers as your's put mine well to shame... You'll just have to put up with the pre stuffed version Alstead! sorry I meant instead!

Nice! You composed this beautifully and the water drops are icing on the cake.

Ian, this is fabulous! First thing I saw was the reflection. 'Alstead' stole my Elephant! :-(

This is perfect! Love the reflection on the silver bowl!!

And, Ian, we are a "support" gruoup here, you can certainly borrow ideas! Who Doesn't?? Today I plan to mimic an Alstead shot too....

This is a very fine image, Ian. Love the reflection of the survace on the container!

Aw how guilty do I feel now - sorry Ian!!! In any event this is a superb pic. Maybe you could look on it that our postings made you strive harder and that has to be a good thing. The yellow mash? Unbelievably scrummy but incredibly rich so small quantities are best!

Excellent shot Ian, I like the water drops of the peppers. Sorry about the berries!

Thanks Jill, glad to know I'm not alone! I tried this one on the table but I could see just about everything in the kitchen as a reflection in the colander (not a pretty sight). I gave up and picked the whole thing up and put it on the drainer and lo and behold the reflection was perfect (well better than previous). I just draped some black cloth over the radio aerial and clipped the other side to the window... Shot in the can!

More than "quite well", "very well" I would say! Yes, the reflections on the drainer lines are terrific but you've caught the moisture as well - a nice touch.

Yep, I agree...I was planning on a marble shot and Ray beat me to it..then planned a mug shot but felt you had beat me to it...so I am left with papertowel shots;)

However, I must say that you did quite well with this pepper shot..like the refection of the table? Nicely color coordinated.
