Lighthouses are lonely places. At one of the southern most places in Tasmania a set such as this high frequency radio kept the lighthouse keeper at Cape Bruny in touch the world. This equipement was originally designed to be used in aircraft.

This radio is held at the small museum at Cape Bruny.
