Rescued fez

Sutton Forest, New South Wales, Australia

This image is symbolic of disaster and recovery.

This phase belongs to the Executive Chef, Stephen Crooks at the Eling Forest Winery in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales.

Last April the Winery was subjected to a storm event which caused flash flooding. The kitchen and and function centre was inundated with dirty water. This fez was washed out of the kitchen and found in the grounds after the water receded. I photographed Stephen's precious fez the day after the flood.
