View from Hamilton Island.

This image is scanned from a more than 20 year old transparency. The unusual textures of the sea are partly the result of slight deterioration of the transparency and the way in which the scanner saw the image. I am not sure exactly which Kodachrome film was used here.

The image looks almost painted however I have not applied any Photoshop filters.

I took this image in between a somewhat boring commercial shoot on Hamilton Island.
