My favourite French restaurant "Sel et Poivre" was the place for a pre-Bastille Day lunch. Daniel, the oh so French proprietor and host looked on.
The sad postscript to this image is that Daniel Perchey died in September 2008 in his early sixties thanks to an aggressive brain tumour. My family will miss him. May he rest in peace.
