Today was the first day "back to school" for us. While everything doesn't always go as planned, I will say that it was a success. Entomologist still doesn't like spelling, and is and will be forevermore interested in insects.
After we finished up our lessons, we decided to head outside. Somewhere I remember seeing a "recipe" for butterfly food. If you place a plate of over ripe fruits out, they will come. At least according to the recipe. Well, we waited, and waited. No butterflys. PUHLENTY!! of flies tho!
So while the boys played, I ran inside to get my new to me OM 75-200 macro lens.I was able to capture a few nice fly shots, but this one, seemed to be my favorite.
EXIF info is not accurate as OM lenses and digital bodies do no communicate with one another.
**also used a +10 closeup lens/filter**
