Veteran San Francisco Bay Area guitarist Steve Kimock visited Chico, California, on April 5, 2009 for a show at the Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.'s Big Room. The 350-capacity venue was sold-out; some patrons sipped beer at their tables and many others took advantage of the dance floor in front of the stage. The band featured Kimock on guitars, old Jerry Garcia Band-mate Melvin Seals on keyboards and vocals, John Morgan Kimock on drums, Janis Wallin (bass), Cheryl Rucker (vocals) and Shirley Starks (vocals).
