Aubrey Debauchery & The Broken Bones, and The Rugs, 1078 Gallery, Chico, CA, Sept. 21, 2013. Local rocker Aubrey "Debauchery" Pope, who's been writing songs and performing for more than a decade but who is not yet 30, fronted her band, The Broken Bones (which includes members of Bogg Jazz Quartet), at a tour-opening, CD-release show Saturday night at a packed 1078 Gallery in Chico, CA. Backed by a solid band, songs of love and love lost dominated the proceedings. The Rugs, a local alt-folk-rock outfit led by Kristina Hernandez and members of The Amblers and The Perpetual Drifters, opened the show.
