We have spent 18 days in Albania in 2012 through Yatra travel company and visited Shkoder on our way from Montenegro to Kosova
Unless night life is your thing there is little to see in Tirana. Of all the cities we most liked Shkoder the most. If you stay there over night allow me to suggest the Hotel Kaduka in the center of the city.
Alan, very impressive. I have travelled quite a lot in Albania, but never really had good pictures such as yours. I liked it very much.

You have mastered the light which can be seen on you photos.

Your photos are wonderful! I have been to Albania three times now (most recent vist was July/August this year also) - my husband Albert is from Tropoje in the North but I got to visit Berat and Apollonia (Fier) this time round for day trips and the scenery was amazing (took loads of photos). We also spent 10 days by the sea based in Durres and the rest of the time stayed up in the North with his parents. In past trips I have also visited Kruje (homeland of Skanderbeg). I definitely recommend this area for it's castle and wonderful museum.
I think your pictures are lovely. Great job. Hope you enjoyed Albania.
Just wondering why you think Albanians dont like Albania Stefan? All the ones i know do!!! Is it because Albanians and Serbs dont get on you are trying to say ALbania is not nice?!
