Sleepless nights...
Swollen eyes...
Some days one really looks like shit no matter what...
I suppose these are also the days when one should never
do a SP...
But after many trying to look good photos, I think I've
earn my right to look bad too.

Such is daily life ;)

You can't have a bad day, Ana :-) Congrats on your new equipment!

You give us Ana, tired or not. And you give her to us in as intimate and forceful way possible. In our face. There is no way for us to escape from your stare. I don't think you look bad --perhaps tired and a bit askew, but that is pretty much the way all of us would look at times. This image is abstract, incongruous and full of human values, so what is wrong with that?

Ói Ana,
To start with,I like your crop. Not many dare crop a face that way.I like, I do, for others , not to me because I´m not subject of my own pictures.A mirror does that a bit better. But a woman face, even a quarter of a face, always is a nice subject to look at.
Bad days, well, only the "sons of lesser gods" can live along a straight and level line.Normal people, bright people think tanks, all have more bad than good days.Is not a right in a toll we pay to whom I don´t know but would love to know to have a nice chat and ask him a single question: WHY ? I imagine you are trying to figure out what is my "why". Is other "why", yours, other why .We, all people that have bad days , they are result of a "why" without answer.
Anyway, forget it, do not ask silly questions, instead look outside, as I do now, the sunset is wonderful.A sunset without "why".
Abraço

I really like this even if you don't.
Guest 27-Oct-2006 08:02
No... you don't look bad at all, Ana. You look... as an intense person, who has emotions and lives with it.
This is a great image, very powerful.
Hope you'll have a lot of fun with your new camera!

The day was so bad that you even failed to look bad, Ana ;-)
Unusual and very effective composition, nice warm tones.

Hey girl, you couldn't take a bad shot, or look bad even if you tried!
Wonderful light, framing, and your eye contact is right on! Beautiful color
in your eye...and don't think I didn't notice that E-1! :-)

The beauty of sadness in golden lights...!!!
Guest 26-Oct-2006 11:35
The bronze moon eye had never asked to rise from it's horizon slumber. To sleepwalk through a midnight when it would rather be cloaked secretly among deep velvet of silence. As the air bristled with insistance. It's fibres chaffing raw against the skin of dreams.Like itchy straw of oceanside dunes, as a wire brush rubbing away any trace of solace.Until remnant thoughts become gritty as restless sand.Abrassive and exhausted as a prisoner.Chained to time.
