24-AUG-2006 Ana Carloto

For those who've wondered if I had dissapered from Pbase..
Well, not really. I'm just enjoying my last week of vacations ;)
At the beach, working hard at doing nothing and ocasionally playing
with the little kodak on one more SP with summer flavour...

Here's a little summer deep blue sky of Portugal for everyone :)

Deep blue sky, a summer breeze blowing through waves of hair, the sun reflecting in the sunshades, the look of content: a sweet memory of summer vacation.

Oooh - I`m abit too late - so I can only agree with the comment of Christine (and this was my first thought too - believe it or not): Kissed by the sun > cause we can do it ;-)

Just fantastic, Ana. Full of life giving sunlight, beautiful deep blue Portugal sky. The sun kisses you, it shines through you, and you belong in it.

I would say "sunkissed" or "sun loved". The perfect reflection in the sunglasses, the hair - an original and very dynamic picture Ana. You obviously enjoy the sun and what a photographer you are !

Geez, Ana, I get to be first for once. This windblown portrait kindles thoughts of Sandro Botticelli's "Birth of Venus."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Birth_of_Venus_(Botticelli) I can imagine you, wrapped in that mass of windblown hair, emerging from the sea just as Venus does in the painting. No, we can't see your long neck, nor your body or shell or the zephyrs who are escorting you ashore. But we can certainly imagine them here. You made my day.
