Some of the trees in Canberra have lights situated underneath them which, in winter, emphasise their silvery colours and lack of foliage. The effect can be quite eerie if you let your mind dwell... (Which you usually can't in a Canberra winter, because if you're outside you're probably on the brink of hypothermia anyway.)

Edit 10 August 2024: I have no idea why on Earth I didn't originally specify the location of this place when I posted it, but the trees are outside the hotel that I was staying at at the time, the Hotel Realm.
