Today was purely a day for playing with the circular polarising filter that I bought yesterday. To be honest the results were not at all what I was expecting based on my experience of such filters in the 40D.

Still, I haven't used them in such intense sunlight before either.

In any case, my old standby Mr. C. Gull got nominated for today's PAD, not for being noteworthy, just for being one of the shots in the session. It could actually have been pretty much any shot from this set; none were truly great, none were exceptionally awful.
