After yesterday's shocker of a photo (which won't appear immediately behind this shot when I first publish it but will when the gallery is later reordered) I decided it was time to take the 60 mm macro out for a spin.
In this case I went down to a beachside park in a nearby suburb and grabbed some morning light on a number of the plants there. Specifically, for this one the seed pods of a particular type of grass that grows there.
It may look like I boosted the living bejebbers out of the saturation of the background but in fact I haven't touched it; this is exactly as it came out of the camera.
