I actually had a whole range of completely different shots taken today that I was quite happy with for PAD purposes. However on the way back I spied this guy laying atop the hill, which reminded me of what Australian summers have a disconcerting tendency to be like.

This one was forecast to be hot though thankfully as of the time of posting this shot (late December) we've had relatively few days of heavy, humid heat. Still, this was a rather warm day as I recall it.

Although I saw this as an opportunity to be honest I'm not wildly happy about it because I lose too much of the sunbather in the background. The shot that it should have been is him lying atop the hill, the tree on the side, and nothing behind him. But in reality that was a shot that cannot happen without some Photoshop magic. Sometimes you have to either fake it, or go with what you've got.
