Getting up early for this shot wasn't problematic because as per the commentary on yesterday's shot, I really hadn't slept much anyway.

I took a number of different shots this morning. Some were taken from the balcony of my hotel room looking down Liverpool Street, and while they had a bit of an early morning feel to them (the street lights were still on) the angle left much to be desired.

In the end I decided to go for this one. Yes, there are people who live in places like this, and this is their view. I suppose it's nice and close to all amenities and yes, I like hotel stays which are close to those amenities... but the Manhattan lifestyle has never appealed to me.

After leaving the hotel it was off for two joyous sessions of tooth filling, separated by a few hours. So I had not one, but TWO chances to have my mbouph numbed by vbe amnasthetic so bat I coubd't say amyfing. Naturally, I spent the day in the library working on my notebook where the fact that half of your face and all of your mouth is paralysed is of no importance.
