During my almost two weeks off I of course had to take care of the animals. In addition to the dog and cat we have some rainbow parrots that hang out near the front of our place. They are occasionally given a bit of bread and honey as a treat.

However with someone permanently in residence they started to come to expect this treat to be delivered to them. As you can doubtless tell from the expressions here. In this case I swapped the bread and honey for a PAD.

Actually I was lucky to get this because moments afterwards they flew up to the electricity wires running to the house. I didn't know why until I looked down and saw that a large, striped feline had sneaked her way out to the balcony behind my legs, despite the fact that her chances of catching either of these two are about as good as that of a Zeppelin trying to catch an F-16.
