During my time off in early September I had in mind to get out and do some exercise, boot the soccer ball up and down the beach and so on.
Except that the weather was diabolical. Not horrible every day, but it rained enough to screw up any plans that you might have. And in the first week we had winds. Good gods did we have winds. Up to 100km/h in some parts of the region.
I expected that the surf would be stirred up and as you can see, I was not disappointed.
I was, however, almost blown off my feet and had the chilly winds cut right through my clothing. Verily, in moments like this one is glad of the Olympus' in body stabilisation, because much as I tried to hold still the pressure differential in the atmosphere had other ideas.
