The first working day of my first break in quite some started well enough. Not a cloud in the sky as you can see. The weather got worse from here, as will be seen in the following shots.

Everybody but the dog, the cat and me were packing up and heading north later that day. Before I had to take them up to the airport I decided to head out and grab a few early morning shots including this guy, who spent several minutes almost like a statue, eyes fixed on the waves beyond and oblivious to those breaking over him. Harder to see is another surfer coming in from the lower left, almost lost in the darkness of the rocks.
