Metcalfe Park does not have an easy life. Being surrounded by the offices of media companies (which attract a fair proportion of younger staff) it's almost always used for football matches at lunch time, and of course the inevitable personal training bootcamp sessions which are kinda like real bootcamp only not remotely.

In any case, the point is that the poor grass cops a major pounding. As a consequence the park was closed for a couple of weeks while the local authorities completely re-turfed it. Here we see a tractor preparing the ground which, I think you will agree, is not a usual sight in such an urban environment.
