Last Sunday's PAD was of this very same tree, though perhaps not the same flower. That one was being blasted by the harsh midday light and casting an equally harsh shadow on itself.
This week things have changed markedly. Today is cool, and has been overcast all day. Not so very long ago it started raining. Not the solid, drenching rain that we could do with to suppress the bushfires across the state, more an extended sprinkle than what I'd call true rain... but enough to dust the same flowers with water drops rather than an intense blast of UV radiation.
Much as that has changed, I've spent most of the day working on a new system that I am so close to being over it ain't funny. Regrettably that hasn't changed since last week.
