That's right, just walk off and leave the sodding bottle behind. I grant you that area around there is light on for garbage bins (much less recycle bins) but really... if you bring it, you take it.

The return of sunny weather has continued today. It's fairly pleasant near the coast where there's a sea breeze, but further inland it's just a bit warm and humid. Still, we shouldn't complain; we've been spared the usual intense summer heat again this year, though there's again been a lot of flooding on the north coast extending into Queensland, as well as the occasional severe storm.

It's to be hoped that the legendary mild Sydney autumn weather will be arriving shortly.
