Every year around this time the City Of Sydney puts out planter boxes in various places around the city. Some of the flowers in the boxes are brilliant and saturated; some gold, some red, some purple, some other colours. Don't ask me what they are, I have no idea.

However in this shot I got close in to one of the red ones in a planter box near the George Street side of the QVB, and shot using the pedestrians crossing at the nearby lights as my bokehed backdrop.
