Most of the seagulls scarpered when they saw me coming, but this one stood its ground and allowed itself to be reflected in the wet sand by the red of the rising sun as (admittedly small) waves roll in from behind.

Addendum: My personal opinion is that Facebook and all other members of the Meta group are disgusting, sociopathic organisations that steal other peoples' intellectual property (including the images in this gallery) despite being explicitly denied permission to do so.
