The weather immediately after Christmas was influenced by a southerly change which, as usual, affected the rather, er, different people who choose to participate in the Sydney to Hobart yacht race. To each their own, and they can well and truly have that one.

In the meantime the weather along the coast was left grey above and choppy below.

Frankly I wouldn't even want to be in the cargo ships in this little lot.
