Wollongong is, as far as I know, the only place on the east coast which has two lighthouses in close proximity; this one on Flagstaff Hill (completed in 1936), and another at the Wollongong Harbour breakwater (1872).
This shot was taken with the circular polarising filter set to have no effect; compare it with 16662 to see the difference when the polariser is applied.
