Yes, I've been rather slack with my PADing again this week. I've had something from last Sunday / Tuesday on my mind and really couldn't be bothered. But you're not here to hear about that, you're here to read about the photograph.
As I type this, the wind is howling outside the window. And I mean howling. The forecast indicates speeds averaging 65km/h (average, not maximum), which means 15km/h more than the nanny state authorises us to drive on some of our main arterial roads. Doubtless the air will be getting an avalanche of tickets from the "safety" cameras that have been installed every few hundred metres.
But in the meantime, here we see a rather large tree in the neighbourhood. I've wound the ISO back to 100 and the f/ stop down to f/22 to slow things down as far as is possible without an ND filter, thus giving an impression of how the leaves were moving around relative to the solid trunk.
