Hmm, it's August already. How'd that happen?

I was originally going to do a particular early morning shot at Bicentennial Park again but decided that I didn't really want to do that shot today, so I've left that one aside for now. Instead we see the carpark at the Rhodes shopping centre. I'm always struck by the split personality of places like these. When I go to a shopping centre early in the morning or perhaps late at night they're always as we see here; largely deserted, mostly dark with a few patches of light, at best uninviting and at worst menacing. Go there a mere couple of hours later and most of the spots will be filled and there will be a constant flow of both people and vehicles, as bustling as any place out in the sunlight.
