To some extent the surf life saving movement is synonymous with Bondi Beach, and vice versa. (Although such a claim would doubtless draw harsh rebuttals from SLSC members on other beaches were they ever to see this commentary which, with my dozen visitors on a good day, seems unlikely.)

Nonetheless here we see a surf life saving flag standing in front of the surf life saving club's building.


Addendum: My personal opinion is that Facebook is a sociopathic organisation that steals other peoples' intellectual property (including the images in this gallery) despite being explicitly denied permission to do so. Facebook going out of business would IMO be a net gain for humanity.
