A fisherman casts out into the waters off Bondi Beach as a seagull, surrounded by seaweed, watches on. The shot is looking south toward Mackenzie's Point, which leads around to Tamarama beach on the other side.
1/6th of a second was enough to blur the water and the motion of the rod, but leave the rest of the scene reasonably sharp. However there was a lot of water vapour in the air and even with a UV filter on the background was going to look the way it looks.
Addendum: My personal opinion is that Facebook is a sociopathic organisation that steals other peoples' intellectual property (including the images in this gallery) despite being explicitly denied permission to do so. Facebook going out of business would IMO be a net gain for humanity.
