Christ! you gave me a fright . Thanks for dropping into my galleries and commenting yesterday. TBH I tend to think of Pbase as a bit of a "ghost-town" these days, with so very little happening. So when your comments popped up it was a very pleasant shock to find another living soul wandering though the empty building. Enjoyed looking though your galleries too, and like the sense of humour you put over . Take care, it gets kinds spooky wandering around in here these days :-) ( note to self: must stop watching these Zombie movies )
Thanks for viewing my galleries and all those good comments.
Your photos as well as your comments, both were pleasure to read...Tom
glad you stumbled onto my pad, now I am hooked on yours. Nice viewpoint in life and your pictures! Well shot... Dave

I have enjoyed a small wander into your galleries. Love the work and the detailed captions. I will look forward to your latest uploads. All the best Barry (also in Sydney).
Many many thanks for your thoughtful and encouraging comments on my photos. As others have said below you have an amazing eye ! What I found with your commentary is that you were able to zero in on exactly what I was trying to achieve (great minds ;o) ) Cheers, Cliff
You have an amazing eye! I especially like your urban work!
Thanks you for the comment on the picture of Point Cabrillo lighthouse.
Thank you for your recent post in the forums about the pbase downtime and lack of communication. You really did a great job summarizing issues and past responses.--Rene
Hi Alan, Like you, I am a beginner and as you say some of the galleries in Pbase have the wow factor. I hope you do not mind if I seek your advice re the style sheet. I noticed you detailed explanations in the forum. I use the standard style sheets from the drop down menu and think they are great except that the intro text is right to the border of the page. I can see you have chosen one that does not do this. How can I solve this problem on other style sheets. PS I know nothing about CSS.
Well, I'm glad you piped up in the forums, because it gave me a good excuse to visit your galleries. Australia is extremely photogenic and you capture it in a nice good humored way.
