Formerly known as Prince William Parish Church.
Erected 1745-55. First known service 1757. Burned by the British, 1779.
(The Church stored confiscated British gunpowder and weapons. A bad Idea.)
Burned by the Federal Army 1865. Tough Love.

The first temple-form neoclassical structure in America. (Greek Revival)
