Me & My Pentax SV

Adelaide, South Australia

I was already drafted, through training, and in an Infantry battalion ready for Vietnam
when this image was made in Adelaide, South Australia. There are two points of interest.
The image was made by an old man with a large "paper-negative paper-positive" dip
and dunk "instant" large format camera. A large wooden box on a wooden tripod with
a brass encased lens. This scan is from that postcard size image, so I guess his 'fixing
and washing' was good. And the camera I am holding is my Pentax SV which is HERE

Another time, place and camera is HERE

The camera and photographer who made this image is HERE

Excellent souvenir d'une belle époque... At the same year, I used also the same Pentax, but that was a long time ago Colin. Cheers.

It is an excellent portait, and the reproduction quality is pretty good too.
