Palmetto 1

Charleston SC

Along a swamp edge path ...

Semi-stand developed in Rodinal 1:100 at ~21C for 65 +/- mins.
Gentle inversion for the first minute, and 5 inversions at the 30th minute.

It seems that the inversions at the 30 minute mark have created increased acutance
on the (already naturally fine edged and sharp) palm frond fingers. (Rodinal at weak
dilutions does it, but perhaps not to this degree). There is no doubt that the whites
were not blocked. This image represents about a 50% crop of the negative (to mimic
the coverage of a short telephoto.)

Yashica-D TLR, Yashikor 1:3,5 ƒ=80mm, Ilford FP4+

other sizes: small medium large original auto
