Marsh Edge with Tree

Charleston SC

Best viewed at "Original" Size

Live Oak Tree in the Marsh - the shady side. :-) My old Weston Master V was telling
me that there were +/- 7 stops between deep shade, and the sun glinting on the water.

For some reason, crunching this image from 300dpi 16 bit 15x15 to 72 dpi 8 bit jpeg 13x13,
and then into Pbase, causes some artifacts to appear, and darkens the trunk more than it is already. (Re-uploaded, again).

7 stops. That's a bunch yet you managed beautifully. The water shows tones and the partial silhouette of the tree works well here. In addition, good compo and an interesting image. s
