Simple, nice coffee table size book. Some wonderful images, architectural and more.

'Platinum and Palladium Printing' - Dick Arentz. (or, "How Colin can justify
spending a small fortune on platinum and palladium printing supplies".) This is close
enough to a 'bible' for me on the topic.

'How to Read a Photograph - Lessons from the Masters' - Ian Jeffrey. Go to
the Library this week and reserve your copy ! I wanted mine every day, so I bought one.
A history of photography, page by page, with over 100 masters and examples of their
work, from the 'big bang' of our craft, to 'now'. Easy-to-read one or two page 'vignettes'.
Lots of images. Biological, historical, technical. Something for everyone. Bet you can't
just read a couple of pages about one master, and then put the book down. ;-)

'What Einstein told his Barber' - Robert L. Wolke. "From the physics of snow,
to the chemistry of coffee, to the mathematics of sunblock.". Your morning latté will
never be the same again... The author also wrote "What Einstein didn't know".
