Plantation Portico

McClellanvile, SC

Hampton Plantation (Portico added 1790)
"George Washington had such a view when he stood on the Hampton family’s portico in 1791"

Best in Original size.

I took a leisurely drive today, along with a favorite camera and some 'pharmacy film'.
The Zeiss Ikon Contina 1a c.1954 (Stuttgart, Germany) is cute but all muscle.
Helical focus mount only, no light meter, but a great lens and a sweet shutter.
"...Who could ask for anything more ..."

Another ZEISS CONTINA image HERE

Zeiss Ikon Contina 1a, Zeiss Novar Anistigmat 1:3,5 f=45mm, Fuji Superia iso400

other sizes: small medium large original auto

The green chairs certainly set the scale of this image. Nice composition, simple but overwhelming at the same time. V
