Percy

River Torrens Bank, Adelaide, S. Aust.

Best viewed in Original Size

After a long search in my archives, I found the image I knew
I had, of the photographer who made my portrait below. The
note says his name was Percy. He used this camera to make
paper negatives which, after a quick dip and dunk inside the
'darkroom' box, he then placed (wet) on the holder as you can
see here, and made another exposure. This time, positive.
As I still have my print, I have to conclude that his work was
archival. Such a handy device ! Thanks, Percy. Voted. ;-)

Great documentairy photography with added value from the image that goes with it. I saw the same technique at Creta in '85 but I was to shy to make a photo of it or to buy a portret of me, althoug I knew it was quit unique .I still regret it very much I didn't...
