Before entering the Siq or gorge/valley, there was a section where you can ride a horse. Although the entry fee to Petra includes the horse ride but the vendors expect a tip. The vendor's outfit varies quite a bit. Quite a few was wearing western outfit with baseball caps. I waited for a while before one in a more authentic outfit posed for me right in front of the structure on the other side of the horse trail.
