Though this project started in the spring of 2001 with the decision to buid a new garage it wasn't until 4 years later that the first beer was produced. Every conceivable form of delay with the county, trades and suppliers was encountered. A major "hang up" was the hood but we got the inspection on that 04 Jun 04 and final inspection from the county on the "garage" 2 weeks later. The cold room went in the weekend of the 14th of August and the boiler produced steam for the first time 28 August 04. At that point we began the long wait for the other brewing equipment which didn't arrive until 3 May 05. The first beer was produced later that month.
