Mejiro - Taking a bath

The big birds were hogging the bird bath
so this little mejiro finch (Zosterops japonicus) sat
in the rain dampened maidenhair ferns and took a shower
with the drops off the fronds. It was so cute!

This was shot through a window screen -
the haze created by the screen was corrected with CS3
curves and contrast adjustments.
