Iconoclastic Observations

The Iconoclast

I find myself surrounded by empty ideas that have achieved the sanctity of religious dogma.
My instinctive reaction is to ask - "Are you sure about that?"
Of course, the people urging these ideas immediately label that as 'denial'
or some similiar sin, for these ideas are circular and self-supporting concepts.
For instance, someone who questions the idea of 'Teamwork' as the approach to every task is defined
as being 'Not a team player' - a sin or even a heresy.
In fact, most useful things seem to be done by an individual
while the team is still arguing about who will get the coffee.

I object to it all - the plausible ideas with no foundation;
the favorite myths and the Conventional Wisdom of the Dominant Group. (CoWDunG)
This is where I choose to do it.
