Ben Wilson 22-Jun-2021 20:24
Hi Adrian

This is Ben Wilson (chewing gum man). In 2005 you took a series of photographs of me being arrested in Trafalgar Square during the Architecture Week launch. I was painting a chewing gum picture in the square, the police chased me on to a podium, manhandled and arrested me. I was really surprised when a friend found your photographs online. I found it upsetting to see the photographs and to be so vividly reminded of the experience. I was thrown in the back of a police van, and charged with crimnal damage. The case was subsequently thrown out by the CPS. I am currently having a website made of my art, and would be very pleased if I could use the series of pictures you took on the site. I could make you a chewing gum picture in return. I was amazed that you took all those photos and captured that event, I wasn't aware at the time that you were taking them. I've always found the image of the an standing in front of the tank in Tiananmen Square. all the best Ben

Hi Adrian,

I hope you are very well!

It's Hannah here. Remember you took some photos of me with my cello a few years ago? I was wondering, could I use a couple of the black and white one? My cello quartet needs a black and white one of me for some promotional stuff. Let me know if you could send them
to my email...it's hannahcello@hotmail.co.uk

Very best wishes, Hannah

Your images of London remind me why I love that city and its people so much. The Speakers' Corner gallery will always stay my favourite gallery of yours - each time I look I see another portrait that shows me a new emotion, a new person worth getting to know.
I'm planning a trip to London in March, so I may see you at the Corner :P

Hi Adrian
I'm trying to contact you to ask your permision to use your material about Jean Charles de Menezes in my web site (www.jeancharlesdemenezes.com or www.shoot-to-kill.com) intending to be a reference about everything positive made in memory to Jean. As I believed you won't mind it, I made a page for you there and, if you don't like it, I will remove it if you want. Thanks. My e-mail is scriptandfilm*yahoo.com

thanx heaps John - appreciated - not sure if u knew - but pbase have come to the party to sponsor the oly e-slr galleries. now we just need some pics.... kinda frustrating how 'old school' the oly folk seem to be. i hope the e300 crowd embrace it - i think some 'creative tension' is needed ;-)

G'day Adrian. I just noticed that your galleries have been viewed just over 100,000 times, quite a milestone, somewhat inevitable from the quality and interest you've generated! Congratulations! :o) Cheers, JDU
