50mm f/1,4 on 20D

Temporary PaD

A study on the personality of the Canon 50mm f/1,4 (I had used it only once, in more than 1 year... the photo is here)

Impressions:
Overall image quality can be compared to a 1500€ zoom.
"portrait" angle (it is an 80mm related to 35mm film)
Photos require only modest sharpening in PS
Small and discreet, non-aggressive look
Not very fast in focusing with the 20D. (update: on a 5D becomes very fast)
Given the f/1,4, the viewer is very bright
Conclusion:
I will never sell it !
