Hello Phil:
Did you ever meet up with a RQB W. (Bill ) Hannah. I know he was there June 1st 1983, and was in Muskrat July 30th for two weeks lecturing officers in bomb disposal. I never heard from him since.
If you have any information, i would appreciate hearing from you.
thanks
Linda

We are specialized at history and culture of aviation and I now I’m writing an article about the Sepecat Jaguar history. Hello Phil,

I am writing a history of Airwork and would like to use one of your excellent Jaguar photos - could you let me know your terms if you are interested? It would be fully credited. I also have a couple of questions if you wouldn't mind letting me have your e mail?

Kind Regards

Hi Phil,
I am part of a non-profit group (Kinmount Pioneer Society) that puts on a heritage display each year at Kinmount Fair on the first weekend in September. Kinmount is a hamlet in central Ontario, Canada. Kinmount Fair is very popular, attracting about 50,000 visitors over three days. This being the Year of the Veteran, we are featuring photos of Canadian involvement in wars. I would like to use your photos of The Brooding Soldier and Menin Gate in the section on war memorials.

Dave,

Thanks for visiting. I was there from late 1983 to mid 1985 It was all SOAF in those days. I remember that we had to move the Golf Course, near to BERS. I believe it is still there. It became the most popular thing to do in the afternoons. Only had one day off a week though Fridays

Cheers
Phil

Hello Phil.

Don't know if you still visit your own site but would like to know when you were there.

I was with Airworks on Masirah from May 88 until August 98 working
in Ground Radio.

Loved my time there and was VERY sad to go but got stitched by an Omani officer who did not like me.(OC Eng to be precise.....nasty little sh*t called Abdullah).

Best regards and hope to get a reply.

Dave

Phil, Viewing your photos are like taking an incredible vacation. I have never been to Europe, and probably will never have that privilege, but walking through your gallery, I see the joys and tears of the ages portrayed there, of places I will never visit, and histories of people who I would never have had the opportunity to otherwise experience. This initial walk through of mine, through your "neck of the woods" on this green earth, has been quite a joy. I will be coming back often to visit, my friend, and to partake of that little bit of your world that you so creatively capture. I look forward to my coming visits and to seeing your next "catch" displayed. Julie Ruiz, Houston, Texas, USA
