Diard’s Trogon (Male) (Harpactes diradii)
Male - Distinctive black forehead, throat and upperbreast. This is an extremely shy trogon
and I could only get a record shot here. The angle is steep with much canopy cover all round.
No chance for that clean perch and smooth BG unfortunately.
Habitat : Broadleaved evergreen jungle to 600m and rarely to 915m in West Malaysia.
