The Hahn Motors Porsche 914-6 GT - sn 914.043.0258

The #93 Porsche 914-6 GT, sn 914.043.2542 competed in the 3-GT 2.0 class at the 1000 km Nuburgring, May 31, 1970. It was driven by Peter Kaiser and Gunter Steckkonig, sponsored by Hahn Motors. The GT completed 36 laps and came in 20th place.

URS Bruner and Nikolaus, I need your help again...

Please go to this linkhttp://www.pbase.com/9146gt/image/27033999 and read my comments at the bottom of the page. It indicates that #2542 was entry #93 during the race so was the author of "Time and Two Seats" then wrong or missinformed in his research?

Hello again Nikolaus and thank you for the post. I did just correct and re-assigned the chassis number to the correct photos and made the necessary comments/notes.

Thanks again for taking the time to point this out (I love having the website unlike writing a book. One can easily correct the website but not the book). ; )

The error on the Urs Brunner said is still not resolved. The pictures of you Chassis. 914 043 2542 assigned did belong to the Chassis. 914 043 0258!

Hello Armando, Thanks for your email.

About the "Hahn GT" sn 914.043.2542, the person who wrote the s/n list made a mistake. S/n 914.043.2542 was delivered after the Nurburgring 1000 km race. The race was held in May/1970 (ask the factory).

914-6 GT sn 914.043.0258 was delivered February/1970 to the "Firma Hahn". The information that s/n 914.043.0258 is the #93 914-6 GT race car comes from Walter Näher and Günter Steckkönig. During this time, Näher and Steckkönig worked at the Porsche Factory in the Race Department (Steckkönig was also the driver of the #93 914-6 GT). Steckkönig also helped to build the 914-6 GT by Hahn with infotmation and parts. The man by Hahn who built the car was mister Jan.
