I was there 73-74 and lived in the hooch across from the RDI. Ended up co-managing it. The devil was not on the door when I was there. Red Horse shared the hooches with us.

I am the guy that made the sign and a devil for the door was waiting on orders to catch up from sigon . Wonder what happened to the devil? Must have walked off. Richard

This was the Invert Squadron bar. I involved with the remodeling of it from the original stereo hootch into the Red Devil Inn.
